The cheapest way to get from the city to Lancaster, PA will be by taking the bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal, which is located at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue to Lancaster. Capitol Trailways provides intercity bus transit by the Big Apple and Lancaster. Another way to get from NYC to Lancaster will be by Amtrak. You can take either the Keystone Service or the Pennsylvanian from Penn Station, NY to Lancaster. The trip should take about 2 hours each way. Good luck
