I am the 2nd Vice Commander in our squadron and we patrol the streets and bars looking for perverse acts such as lust, blasphemy, drunkenness and slovenliness. If we find these people, we usually just write them a warning and tell them to go home. They can get it off their record if they show up at the Church on Sunday and ask forgiveness. Otherwise, it will go on their permanent record.

If this is true, it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. How would you like someone scoping out your every move to see if your violating anything? I hope this is a joke. You seem to have tremendous 'moral authority' so I suppose you do nothing wrong. Good for you. A bit self righteous don't you think?

Alrighty Donna, since reading your profile..... haaaaaaahhaaaa! Catholic nun fantasies? Oh, you had me almost believing this.

Well this stripper club out east had some church going folk protesting outside it. Totally harassing the strippers and the patrons who went to that establishment.

I think the church folks are getting sued last I read.

I have no desire to show up in church on sunday, so put it on my record :)

I love the idea of the VICE commander waging war on sin. I presume this is meant as a joke? Otherwise, it is truely scary. What gives you the right to judge the actions of others?

Psalm 130: 3-4 states lord if you kept a record of our sins, who could ever survive?
Why do this if the lord doesn't keep records?

There was a couple guys who did that in my neighborhood a few yeas back. One morning their bodies were found floating in the weeds in the lake, a single bullet hole in the head of each.

We generally direct them to the nearest Church of Satan, which holds Black Mass every Sunday. After all, you only said they have to go to Church, you didn't say *which* church.

No, we don't. What happens is the police chief just orders a hundred-car train filled with pulpwood to stop in center of town, preventing us from carrying our evil to distant spots.

You cannot truly know how strong your faith really is if you live in a society governed by your faiths "laws". It is hard to discern whether you are truly "Faithful to God or Fearful of the King". Living in a den of sin and still being true to your God is a better test and proof of true faith than living in a convent.
