I think death positively fuels life. Can you imagine how you would feel if you were clinically depressed and knew that you were never going to die? It's a perfect system. It also drives us to suceed in life because you always know that you're living on borrowed time.

It's a transformation. All form of death are a transition from one state to another, and we can see examples of this all around us. A flower dies--but it leaves behind seeds--which grow into new plants--which make more flowers.
A passionate infatuation mellows, becomes a solid love which carries the partners through the decades.
A social regime stalls, "dies"--and is replaced by something else, that works as well or better than the old order, until it's time for it to be replaced.
I know, physically and biochemically, what will happen to my body. It will go on to nourish other life. I'm less certain about what will happen to "me"--but I'm not worried about it either. The worst--the very worst--that could happen would nothing, for that part of me to stop with my body.
But nothing just stops. Life shows us that, so I think there's a better than even chance that there is something as yet unperceived. I'll find out when I get there.

The worst part about death as far as I have experienced it is the agony, horror and pain that the loved ones feel after someone has died. I don't know about death, other than it hurts me. I only hope that the person that has died is no longer in pain. I am suffering enough and would really be angry to have to think that they are suffering too. This world is hard enough to live in, I hope that death ends all suffering for the person and they can finally rest.

death is a sequence of events that happens and everyone should grow accustomed to it is not a particularly happy time of course but everyone must face it eventually.
death to me is a mid point in a journey beyond the body and mind into the world of the heavens. This happens for everyone and is a very sad moment.
this is my personal opinion on what death is.

I believe after death we will go to heaven or hell. We will be judged by God's law. Of course God will be the one judging us. God's law is the Ten Commandments. Lets go through a couple of the Ten Commandments. Have you ever told a lie? If you have told a lie then you would be called a liar. Have you every stolen anything even if it was something small? If you have stolen something then you would be called a thief. Have you ever hated someone? Jesus said," When we hate people, in our hearts it is just like murdering them. If you have hated someone the bible calls you a murderer. This is just three of the commandments. Everyone has broken the commands of God. Even if you break only one commandment you are guilty of breaking them all. If this is the standard that God will judge us, we would be guilty. God cannot let liars, thieves, and murderers in heaven. If he did then God would not be a good and just judge. I believe if you are guilty of the law you will go to hell. I believe if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, rose from the grave, ascended to heaven, is Lord and God, and you repent and turn from your wicked ways. These are the people that will have the blood of Jesus cover their sins and they will be able to go to heaven. Whether you go to heaven or hell I believe you will be there forever.

My opinion is death is sad. It's scary, it is the one thing in life that we can depend on. I am scared of not living. I am an agnostic, so I look hopefully to there being an afterlife, and not just a body rotting in the ground. The thought of death chills my breath and catches it in my throat, and makes me feel desperate for air because it is so overwhelming to think of what it would be like to just.. cease to exist.

I think it, like so many other things is made into something awful. I don't think it has to be regarded like it is but in my experience it all comes down to commercialization. There is big money in funerals and stuff related to dying. Just remember we all get to die. It's a fact of life. However our spirit lives on forever. That's just my opinion and belief at this moment. Peace to You.

Death is just something that will happen to each of us. An end to the beginning.

It is something each of us must face and do. I am not as afraid of it as I was when I was young. There is life after death. There is a God.
