THIS IS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY... CALL THE VET NOW!

The plastic will NOT dissolve! If it makes it out of the stomach into the small intestine, you'll have MAJOR problems. If its too large and he vomits, it may become lodged in his esophagus, anothefr major problem.

Any way to look at it, he needs to be taken to the vet NOW... especially since he is showing advanced symptoms.

Be up front with the vet... if you can't pay now, most DVMs will work something out.

If you really love your dog, you'll get him to the vet NOW!.

These are classic symptoms of some very serious, often fatal, dog illnesses. Don't wait, take your pup to the vet now. It MAY be that he's just got an upset tummy from eating something he shouldn't have (ie ice pop) but don't take any chances.

He needs veterinary care immediately and there isn't anything that you can do at home to help him I'm afraid.

Best of luck, I hope he gets better.

Are you crazy, this is serious! Get your dog to the vet because that plastic could get damaging his gut, you have to think about the nature of plastic. Plastic can CUT especially something as soft as your soft insides. This can cause internal bleeding!

When you got a dog you took on the responsibility of a parent! It doesn't matter how much it costs! Get him to the vet NOW! He could bleed to death internally!
