Science will always claim, that the spirit is not outside the body in astro projection, when they are picking up on certain brain activity. That is what they want to believe, and it certainly gives their overly material oriented type emphasis more dominance. But, both can be true. The spirit can leave the body, and still maintain remote type control over the body. I believe our spirit often leaves our body in our sleep, travels into the spiritual realm, connects with other spirits, and returns before one awakes. Dreams often seem really real, because they are, but in the spiritual realm. Astral Projection is a unique type of spiritual experience, or altered state. You actually see your immediate surroundings, and often your own body. You can certainly use meditation, to make more things happen in your dreams. I have astral projected many times, but have never been able to control when it would happens. My focus is on altering this world, and the only spiritual experiences I focus on, are ones that can impact others in this world.

Basically you are put into a dream like state or you are actually asleep and then eventually you might be really focusing on something in your dreams or what you think is a dream and another form of you is walking around while you are somewhere else but the other one can't really be touched.

An astral projection is easy. It's when I place my butt on my neighbors car windshield and form an as$tral projection. he he he I couldn't resist

It's a manifestation of the brain. Any neurological lab at a university can put electrodes on your head and off you go.
