Yes, a true religion and all false religion.
Oil is another reason too BTW.

All the wars are fought for mainly material gains whether land, power or political supremacy The people fall prey to the religious sentiments that are aroused by their leaders. Recent history will show that World Wars 1 & 2 started between Christian nations and Iraq -Iran war between two Muslim nations. The conflict in middle east is for the land or the oil and nothing to do with any religion.

the main cause is a question of land, not religion.
Israel was legally created in 1948 at the very end of the British Mandate of the area historically called Palestine. It was done without the Arabs who were already there being considered, except to remove them from their homes, and without the blessing of most of the international community, including the countries that surrounded this tiny strip of land. All the rest of the conflict comes from either the Arab countries attacking Israel (1948, 1967 etc) or Israel "preemptively" attacking other sovereign states or annexxing land well past the legal time limit to do so (see west bank, southern lebanon and golan heights, also see Isreal bombing the crap out of lebanon in the summer of 2006 in response to one Israeli soldier being kidnapped)
Palestinians either live in two small and highly restriced strips of land on either side of Israel, or in refugee camps in the surrounding countries. Some people have been living in these camps for almost 50 years, many have been born there and are not able to go anywhere else. I am currently living in Jordan and have visited a few of the larger camps here.
this is the source of the conflict: Western Imperialism and failure to follow International Law.

Its really about hygiene.
Actually all religions have a history of violence. Right now Islam is going through its faithful stage, where the followers are being forced to face progress in the form of western society and culture.
As a result they are fighting against the west, because science and our moral acceptance is very different to what is taught in the Koran and frankly in the bible.
The Middle east is still violent because they still have a very literal translation of their holy text, and because they are taught they are being persecuted by the western world.

The main cause of conflict is the hatred that Islam incites. Muslims murder Jews, and Muslims murder Muslims. Muslims need to learn how to stop hating and murdering those who they disagree with; each other and Jews if there is ever going to be peace in the middle east

YES IT IS... Go to the Bible and read all about it!!!
Malachi 1:4 (NIV) Edom may say, "Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins." But this is what the LORD Almighty says: "They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people ALWAYS under the wrath of the LORD.
BTW... In the Bible the Edomites (Esau) are all the Arabs!

Oil, land, power, greed, money, religion - the Middle East conflict has it all and will likely never be solved.
In fact - that is my prediction for World War III - Armageddon will begin in the Middle East and spread across the world as all major powers are drawn into the conflict.

Yes. It's not just the Jews and Muslims, it's Muslims and Muslims. Take out the religion thing and they might be able to get along.

It is strictly political and for land and gains. I don't care if you are talking about Israel/Palestine or Iraq or Afghanistan, or anywhere else.
Also, You take it for granted that all Palestinians are Muslims. Alot of them are Christians......who also call G-d Allah. That is the Arabic word for G-d.
