No such Catholic Churches in Manila (Phils.) do baptism if the parents are not married. If you are not ready for church marriage then go for "Huwes" or Registry. Can't you do it for the sake of the baby. You are man enough to make a baby but not man enough to give the baby your name? Well it's your decision.

So?

The Church does not deny the Holy Sacrament of Baptism to an innocent child just because he/she is born out of wedlock.

The child is NOT responsible for the moral circumstances surrounding his/her conception and birth.

Remember what Jesus said, "Let the children come to me." Jesus did not say, "Let only the children of married parents come to me."

Yes...I'm from the Philippines and I stand for it.
No child was the result of an accident, even if his parents' relationship was...so I think every child of God deserves a baptism, despite the legitimacy.
It wasn't his fault anyway...and hey, everyone's born for a purpose...

.....and this has something to do with you, how?

I think a more accepting church would be more prosperous...

I'd love to start a church...

"The First Church of Duane....No Prejuduce, No Hate, Just Icecream and Good Friends Every Sunday Morning"
P.S. No gods allowed, just good people...
