Maybe because it's a sham! Natural climatic cycles are not caused by humans! Get over it!

Because global warming comes from a nuclear fusion engine about 93 million miles away called the Sun. And that the polar ice caps are melting on a planet which has no fossil-fueled power plants and is called Mars! Because a lot of "junk science" doesn't change that fact, even if dumb reporters accept the nonsense that a gas whose physical property is heavier than air (Chloroflurocarbon or CFC) magically works its way aloft to a point sixty miles above the planet to eat away at the ozone layer because my wife uses hair spray or my car is air-conditioned. Because those governments recognize that climate change is cyclical and that, when it comes to this planet, human beings are the fleas on the back of the dog. That those cycles include increased solar activity which heats the oceans, bringing carbon dioxide and methane out of those waters into the atmosphere
In short, the governments are not buying into the supreme arrogance that humans can "save the planet".

I highly suggest getting a grip & procede with adapting to present & future states...I live in Ne Pa, USA & except for the long winters & short growing season, I love it...so global warming works for me!!! LOL Also, just imagine the possible discoveries awaiting inside those ice floes!!!
Governments are not the capable hands with which to turn in such cases anyway...they knew well in advance of the consequences possible & probable to our world with every Corporate head-turn they made in regard to toxic technology, & in the race-for-space it was deemed more important to get to the stars than to care for the place we survive on. So, from their perspective, all is fine--all the way to the bank & back. The future is not truly their focus...it's how they look right now, & during election processes, that matter most. This is a job for We the People (of Earth, not just US)...We need to rethink the pros & cons of our conveniences, and support the technos that are positive toward life here, disgard the rest. But since We can't seem to get ourselves together (literally), We aren't going to make any great changes any time soon, either...back to square One...adapt. (and take the opportunity to research future Real Estate options (LOL).
The Changes are on a roll...those that go with the flow will survive well, those that don't, won't...evolution is really a very simple process...Good Journey in it all !!!

First off Yahoo has its own global warming section on answers second as the UN climate change panel puts out a definite report on global warming there is a record snow storm in Switzerland near where the UN is giving their report LOL GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT REAL!

It's pretty difficult to stop a natural phenomenon. We can all do our parts to keep from accelerating it though.
