The faith of human beings are classified in three grades--in goodness-satwik,in passion it is rajsik or in ignorance it is tamasik.
The satwik nature being purer than others is illuminating and it frees one from all sinful reactions Those in satwik mode become conditioned by a sense of happiness and knowledge.
Next comes rajsik mode. It is a mode of passion born of unlimited desires and longings, power and fame.It is characterized by the attraction between man and woman.He wants to enjoy sense gratification.He longs for a happy family,with nice children ,wife and house.
Third comes the tamasik mode which is a mode of delusion,ignorence,madness,indolence and sleep.

1. Satvik :- having knowledge & promoted to higher planes.
2. Rajo:- Lusty desires like kama.
3.Tamo:- Shameless, no discrimination & eating only.

The person with Satva guna`s are called as Saatvik (person with calm and composed by nature) and a person with Rajo guna are called as rajastic(person with aggressiveness and bad temperment.). This is in brief.

Sattvic means a person who travels along with time and don`t about rajastic.

sattvic is pure and efficient divine,discrimminating intellegence. (root is sat =divine)
rajastic is translated as nuetralizing it is the mixed emotion/intelligence and less efficient enery of passion
