Yes. I fully believe in the merciful God. He has been so generous all these years that I have nothing more to ask from him. Every time I pray, my prayer contains only my expressions of gratitude to him.

Yes, it happens to me all the time! When I think back on the last 20 years of being a Christian there have been times when I could have gone right under and been six feet under by now, but he has always pulled me through! May God be praised!

No, I don't believe that at all. I got to where I am by making my own decisions, learning from mistakes and moving on. I rejected the idea of there being a god when I was 14, something I have no regrets about. In fact my atheism has grown stronger ever since. I have the ability to give myself a bit of credit and not rely on an invisible man who lives in the sky. You should try giving yourself some credit sometimes, you might find that you are a strong human being and not have to give the praise to something you have no evidence of existing.

I feel sorry for people who do not trust or know GOD ,as we are in real bad times and are about to get worse when they do who are they going to call on? , the trouble is will he take notice when they do as they deny him now will he deny them later .the truth is the people when put under the stress that will come most will look after number one so you can believe me it will not be good enough .

No. I never understand why it is that when things go right God gets the credit but when things go wrong it's all the fault of us fallible human sinners.
If there is a god then he, she or it is a seriously sick individual who can sit and watch all the awful things that happen in the world.

Personally it's important to have a faith in a higher being.
Problem is that I'm often criticised because my God comes from a different Pantheon.

There is no god or gods.
You are severely deluded.
Which god are you referring to, by the way? There are SO many currently.
Why don't you believe in Zeus?
Why is the US so backward compared to Europe in its atheist conversion rate?

I believe that the Great Spirit (Creator/God/Goddess) empowers me; thus "keeps me going."
EDIT: Just curious: What's with the "Thumbs Down"? I thought (according to Community Guidelines), that "Thumbs Down" are suppose to be given if the answer is inflamatory, judgemental or completely unhelpful. If you disagree with an answer, that's fine; but why does disagreeing warrent a "Thumbs Down"?

Yes. If not for the grace of God...I would have been worn down by the weight of living day by day.
One of my many favorite verses is:
Romans 8:28 (King James Version) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God bless you.
