I have this really big, red pimple on my upper lip and I'm getting kind of worried about it because it's been there for over a month! Is something wrong and how can I get it to go away??

Are you sure it's not a cold sore or something serious? You should go get it checked out. Bacteria also tends to set up shop around the mouth area, so for all logical purposes, it could just be a really persistent pimple. But just to be on the safe side, I think you should have it looked at.

could be a boil, which is like a pimple but the pus can't drain and the infection persists. See a doctor. Always see a doctor when strange growths appear on the body, you never know.

Are you sure its a pimple? Could be a cold sore therefore some sovirax or somthing would help get rid of it.

ACK! that must hurt. you may need to talk to a doctor if its been there that long. pimples shouldn't last that long. when i do get a pimple, i put a hot compress on it to bring the white to the surface and do the unthinkable...i'll break it. i know people say not to do that though so its up to you of course...

you have to kill the bacteria that thrives in there;
dab tea tree oil directly on the pimple;
that should do it.
