I have some close relationships with some girls at work, it's non-sexual, but rumors always spring up. It's an office, so it seems rumors abound. It's come to the point where I hesitate to do things outside of work because I am scared someone will see. But I think it's partially my fault because I am very friendly.

Yesterday I wasn't working but I was at a Thai restaurant, and I knew one of my friends at work would love to have a Thai lunch, so I texted her asking if she wanted some lunch. She said sure. So after my lunch I got some dishes to go. When I get to work, another co-worker was leaving, she asked why I was there. I didn't lie and said I was dropping lunch off to my friend. Anyways, my friend comes down, I gave her a hug, then we drove around for a little bit, catching up, I hadn't seen her in a week and I miss her. When we got back tot he parking lot two other co-workers were just getting in, and we talked to them for a little bit.

Despite the fact that I am close with all those girls, I think they're all suspicious just because I went for a drive with one fo the girls and brought her lunch.

Is there anyway to be close with a co-worker without someone thining something is up, or is this inenvitable and I should just stop caring and just do what I do?

Just plain stop worrying and thinking about others coz ur showing them a guilty face of u not the confident image. If u knwo nothing is going around with u and any of the girls then u shud be so confident that u look in the eye of others and be able to tell them the truth if need be. We r humans and we know we want to find the right life partner or the right person to share our heart with, so why end up worrying wat other people think. Rumours have a way of spreading even when theres nothing going on. Just a plain look at somebody and the rumours wud fly like seagulls lol don't u think it's unethical to just keep bothering when things eventually happen.

I'd say since ur a friendly person just go on being one and if ur asked then just plain tell the truth. This situation ur into is inevitable and people being people will talk as they have a mind, 2 eyes, ears and a mouth lol...can't help that :D

Well if u just want to put the people around u in a spin then take out each girl from ur office out for lunch or any other place every day lol in a week u'd get out with 7 girls LMAO that shud make people worry about ur status lol PLAYBOY or plain gay or maybe ur trying to find the right girl to go out with hehehe no offense...and i know ur no gay nor a playboy but ur looking for the right girl and it's wuite ok.

Just be urself Chigga and enjoy ur life, worrying will not be productive atleast think of it this way, u making news is making some peoples day, the people are having some good topic of conversation lol.

Stop worrying so much about what others think, be yourself and enjoy the company of your friends and colleagues.

Offices always have rumours of some kind flying around so I really wouldn't worry about it!!!

Tell the office gossips that there is nothing going on and that they should take care of their own business instead of minding yours.
