This seems contradictory to me.

Also, anyone ever compared the religion of the Egyptians(Isis, Osirus and Horus and to the new testament?
The trinity, virgin birth, death and resurrection, son of god dying for everyones sins, life after death, heaven and hell.

All this is in the egyptian book of the dead, which existed before the New Testament

1) Christian zealots/bigots don't just insult Muslims and their prophets; they insult -- and judge and condemn -- ANYONE who doesn't share their exact beliefs, morals, values, and lifestyles. You're not being singled out, trust me. (Take it from a bisexual woman who's been the target of their hypocritical, bigoted slurs far more times than I care to recall.)

2) The early Christian/Catholic church heavily "borrowed" from religions throughout the world to "bulk up" their newly-created organized religion (and thereby make it more "acceptable" to potential converts), including Islam, ancient Egyptian polytheism (as you mentioned), Paganism, Buddhism, ancient Greek polytheism, ancient Roman polytheism, ancient Norse polytheism, etc. (And then they turned around and slapped 'em all with an ANTI-Christian label, so the masses wouldn't get curious and possibly start looking elsewhere...)

Christianity is a fairly new religion, on a comparative scale.

I've never insulted a single Muslim. As far as their religion goes, I am entitled to state my opinion, so long as I do so respectfully.

Have you ever read the Egyptian Book of the Dead? If so, have you ALSO read other books on Egyptian mythology? I've read many (though not the BOTD), and saw NO similarities to the trinity, virgin birth, death/resurrection, a son of God dying for ANYONE'S sins (Horus was the avenger of his father, not a savior), heaven and hell (people whose hearts are lighter than a feather are allowed to be in the presence of the gods, those who aren't are devoured by Ammit and no longer exist)...

Edit: I suggest you look more closely at your "source." At the bottom, there's a disclaimer. Twenty Egyptologists were asked what they thought about the comparison. Ten answered. They all agreed that Horus was not born of a virgin, and he did not have twelve disciples. Also, according to Geraldine Pinch, Ph.D., who is a professor of ancient Egypt at Oxford, has written MANY books on Egyptian mythology. I have two of them. And neither of them have anything on Horus that comes even CLOSE to be able to be compared to Jesus.

Nice try. Keep looking.

Loving your neighbor doesnt mean agreeing with with their Godless beliefs. The Bible teaches overall to boldly proclaim the truth in love and to demolish arguments that are anti-Christ.

The similiarities are exagerated in order to make a fake official sounding case against Christianity. Just because some narratives share a similiarity doesnt mean they are all right or all wrong. For instance, when cops interview witnesses to a crime, there is inevitably always a liar on the scene as well as a person telling the truth. Their stories may share some similairity, but ultimately they are going to believe the person telling the truth and will expose the liar.

Explore the polytheistic myths of Egypt and you will discover them to be just that.

Explore the monotheistic claims about God and you will discover them accurate and characteristic of Gods greatness.

Christian is not a religion but a person who believe in chritianity. and the true follower of Christ.
Christianity is a term use if the belief is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ in the bible .
Religion is a congregation where a person belong for his belief in God, the truth about God and the words of God in the bible.
In a christianity, there are many kinds of founded religion. Many are false religion but there is only one true religion that existed in the bible.
A christian religion is based on the teachings in the bible, however, interpretation of the words of God in the bible varies. Some religions could not really understand what was written in the bible. Some religion are making their own doctrines which are not based in the b ible.
You are very wrong to conclude that religion is based on love they neighbor theory. Some words uttered to muslims and their prophets are not insulting words but words in stating the truth about the matter and the truth of it.
The New Testament as the second part of the bible has long been existed before it came to your knowledge so that you can not conclude that it is newly existed but I can say that you have only known it just a few days ago or few months or few years, yet you have never read it or have not understood the words written and it is sad to say that you lack the knowledge to understand the bible. because of your being wickedness and according to Daniel Chapter 12 verse 10, a wicked man could not understand the bible.

The egyptian book of the dead is a collection of magic spells used by undertakers to bless the dead bodies of those being entombed. These spells were written in books and sometimes imprinted upon walls. The intent was to make passage to the afterlife as easy as possible. The inclusion of spells upon statues placed in the tomb was intended to cause the statues to take up some of the tasks expected of the dead. This does not look like even a remote parallel to Christianity.

Christianity is not based upon "love thy neighbor". It is based upon the grace of God that saves us and all mankind through faith. Acknowledge truth where you find it. Make accusations of hatred if you must, but at least acknowledge truth.

Like clever attributing Divinity to Christ, is insulting and derogatory to God Almighty, the writer and Sustainer of the worldwide. the two Jews and Muslims have faith in one and the only ultimate God who created the full universe, all on my own. no longer even Adam, what to talk of Jesus became there at that element. Now Jesus became born out of a virgin lady. He became laced with you recognize what. He ate, below the impression of alcohol and went to lavatory. a individual with a majority of those attributes won't be able to be equivalent or perhaps resembling the single Lord Who became there from the initiating and could stay till the tip. We admire Jesus as a noble and good prophet. He dedicated all his existence to the venture that became given to him. He even did no longer care approximately his existence. yet he's no longer the only prophet, who laid down his existence interior the line of accountability. in basic terms in the previous him, John the Baptist and Zacharia have been slain in chilly blood. We admire and love Jesus and have faith in his 2nd return. Even many Christians fail to settle for his 2nd coming. in many respects, we Muslims are extra applicable Christians, than the born Christians. i ask your self why our Christian buddies do no longer ask the Jews as to why they do no longer settle for his astounding beginning and seem at him a new child out of wedlock.? I've never insulted any muslim.

Christians need to ask God every day to forgive their sins, being a Christian doesn't mean you are expected to be perfect. Although atheists seem to insult us all the time for not being perfect. Thankfully I only care what God thinks about me.

As much as I would love to "love thy neighbor" on all accounts it is very difficult to when "thy neighbor" walks around with
C-4 strapped to their chest and has difficulties loving those in their own religion. When I can walk in Baghdad or Palestine without fear of death than I will "love thy neighbor" until then I will use sound judgment and keep my distance. Thank you for your question and God Bless.

i don't know why you are portraying the Muslims as the Innocent party who are angels. if you do some research then you'll know that some Muslims not all but some hate non-believers and other religions. they believe that their own religion is the right one and all those who don't follow it must die. so which one is better, Muslims killing Christians or Christians insulting Muslims. I'll let you decide.

Christianity is based on much more than "Love thy neighbour". For example, if your neighbour is a rebellious youth, turn to Deuteronomy 21:18-21

18 If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard." 21 Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.
