Although unable to find it right now, I am pretty certain that Mary & Joseph, Jesus' earthly parents, had two other sons, however not of divine birth, but I guess they could be considered Jesus' brothers, and may have been twins, but not of Jesus for they were born later. Jesus said that all those who follow Him and do His will, "the same are my mother, my brothers, my sisters", etc. I know of no reference in the Bible to a "James" Didymus, in fact, in those times there were no last names. Men were referred to as "the son of" and the name of their father or with the place they were from, ie, Saul of Tarsus (renamed Paul after his conversion to Christ). Now the Bible refers to a disciple named Thomas and says he was "also called Didymus", but this was not a last name. Jesus renamed the disciple Simon - "Peter", and he is referred to a couple of times as Simon Peter, but neither of these are "family" names. There were brothers that were part of the original 12 disciples too, James & John, the sons of Zebedee and Andrew & Simon (Peter). I recalled use of the term "twin", but not as a reference to a "blood relation" of Jesus.

Thomas (no relation to Jesus) was called Didymus (meaning a twin)
James was a younger brother of Jesus.
But why let facts get in the way of a good argument, eh?

First, let me correct you by stating that James was the HALF-brother of Christ. They shared the same mother in Mary but James' had a Earthly father and Jesus was the Son of God.
Secondly, Yes, James was able to go forth and work miracles in the name of Jesus Christ after the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was released down into them.
Thirdly, Yes, He will live forever, as well as I, when the day of rapture comes and we are all called up to praise and worship the Father for eternity.
Thank you for your question and God Bless.

The apostle Thomas was known as Didymus (the twin).
You have listened to this and not looked into the bible just believed it readily, yet the truth is staring you in the face and you ignore it.
When will you people learn?

Jesus had a brother named James, who gets a passing mention in both the NT and Josephus. According to Clement of Alexandria he became Bishop of Jerusalem, and is thought to have met his death in AD62.
That is all that is known of him. Nowhere is there any mention of his being the twin brother of Jesus - yet another product of some atheist's over active imagination, I suppose.
