There are no saviors of mankind in reality.mankind can only "save" itself by working together,not creating "saviors".

no, as a matter of fact, i don't agree...humanity can be freed BY the savior, Jesus Christ...He gave us two commandments, and if we all simply followed them, most of the tragedies and injustices of this world would disappear

Taken literally, that makes no sense .

Obviously its a metaphor, but I'm not sure of what.
