can a staff sargeant have sexual affairs with an enlisted officer even though they aren't in the same squadroon?
the enlisted officer doesn't work in the same area as the sargeant.
or is it only fraternization when they work together?

what is the stockade? how can they get in trouble if they don't work in the same area? who could the affair be reported to and what actions would the superiors take?

It's best to avoid all together, I would go for it but keep it all off base.

I don't think there is a problem with it as long as they aren't in the same chain of command but if the issue were pushed the enlisted soldier could say the SSG used the rank to "persuade" the enlisted soldier into the sexual encounters. The SSG needs to be careful. Also there are no "enlisted" officers. Your either enlisted or your and officer.

According to my Army husband, as long as they're not making a spectacle of themselves (especially in uniform), and as long as they're not in each other's chain of command, it should be fine.
But it also depends on where they're stationed. Over here in Germany, it's not uncommon for such an occurrence, and nothing has been done about it so far.

there is no such thing as an enlisted officer..sgts can have affairs with other enlisted ranks if they dont work for the sgt...
