If this is some attempt to connect any kind of illegal activity to illegal immigration it's a very tenuous connection to say the least. By your reasoning, since both murder and shoplifting are illegal then both should have identical penalties.

Come on, girl...I know you're smarter than this.

Where would you be deported to? Most countries don't want Criminals. Your crimes weren't bad and may have resulted in a small jail term. If your crimes were more serious, fraud, tax evasion, boarder invasion, etc then you would have seen a very long time in prison. If you were in another country where you don't have the rights to remain or were the responsibility of another country then you should have been deported, after serving time.

Illegal aliens are criminals that the US government does not have responsibility for or they don't have permission to remain. This means that the US government does not have to allow them to stay in the USA if it doesn't want to and can happily get rid of criminals (why would a country want to keep someone who isn't going to improve the county and only cost it money if it doesn't have to?)

Your question is very poor and almost expects people to say no trying to prove a point.

If your house was burgled would you want the thief arrested and put in prison or let them go and making sure you leave the door open next time so they can take the TV as well?

No, you can't be deported because your country of citizenship is US. You are our responsibility. For your crimes, you get to pay a fine (unless you don't pay taxes on the money you earn from working 40 hours/week; then you go to jail). However, criminals from other countries are sent back to where they came from and are barred from entering the US again. There is a legal way to enter this country. You go to the US embassy and you get a visa. That's what law abiding people do. If as a foreigner, you have no regard for the laws of this country, then you don't belong here.

Now, if you move to Mexico, Canada, or any other country and you do the same things as you did when you were younger (break into a car, steal cigarettes, etc), you can be that you'll do some jail time and then be deported back to the US and may even face some jail time here.

You are not deportable from the United States because you are a citizen of the U.S. by birth.

Some other countries might find you inadmissible or deportable. We'd have to know the laws of the other country.

Chances are strong you'd be deported from many places if you went outside the U.S. and committed theft, drove without insurance, possessed illegal drugs, and broke into vehicles that are not your own.

What do you think? If you behaved like that in Argentina, Japan, Germany or Singapore, do you think that immigration in those countries would work toward your deportation?

Because there are entirely too many people here as it is, with people having their own children, then someone illegal coming along.. Just look around trees are being cut down to build houses before you know it one sheet of paper will be $5 because there are less trees to make paper from. And no you should not be deported but the ILLEGALS should... We have enough problems from citizens and don't need to add more from illegals. No one is perfect not even illegals.

You broke the law and probably paid your fines or whatever as a citizen. Illegals think they can ignore the law and when caught should not have to face the consequences. Big difference. And putting the fact the you are white born to white was unnecessary. Throwing out the race card is getting old. Illegal is not a race.

It's not just being illegal....
Grow up.
Read the newspapers.
Listen to the news.
Look at the property values.
Look at the financial shape the hospitals are in.
Look at the crime rate in your city and find out who has caused it to rise..
Look at the prices of groceries in the markets.
Look at the number of jobs available in your area and who fills the ones that aren't available.
Take a walk around the worst possible neighbor hood in your own town. See how long you survive without getting raped robbed or murdered...
Look at each house and see who's flag is being flown.. Listen to what language is being spoken...
See how many are living are welfare..
Go to the schools and watch how much time gets spent with a non-english speaking child compared to an english speaking child.

They deserve no more special treatment than you or me....
Grow Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deportation is the penalty for being here illegally. Since you are not here illegally I don't think you should be deported. But illegal immigrants should be. It isn't all about filling out papers and paying fees. It's about people waiting their turn instead of coming here in unmanageable droves.

So, what youre suggesting is that we should let inmigrants live here as long as they don´t break any law? Thats exactly what we already do! The point is, ILEGAL inmigrants are breaking the law just by being here without a visa or green card....
