Yes. No. It tasted sort of like pork and sort of like chicken. It was good. Had a texture that was a touch flaky, like fish.

Grapefruit? LOL! Definately not!
I see many say it tastes like chicken. It doesn't. It actually tastes more like fish, the meat is somewhat flaky but with a more "chicken-like" consistency and the taste is clearly more reptile/fish like than poultry. With an added "gamey" flavour. If you eat the tail part, its also very fatty.
Quite nice, I'll eat it again though I won't go out of my way to get it...

Alligator is delicious. It has a steak-like texture yet a milder style. Swamp 'n' turf is a well-known of mine - alligator steak and a advantageous rump or fillet of purple meat served inclusive of seasonal vegetables. Mmmmm!

Well, I wouldn't say it taste like chicken or fish. It has the consistency of chicken or fish but the taste is slightly different.
The taste is unique. The texture is like fish, soft and flacky.
Alligator meat is best in a bbq sause.
Yummy!

Yes I have. It's not too bad, can taste a little wild. Not too salty. Hard to describe. Take care.
