The first pup that died was the largest. The other pup died more than 12 hours later. But it was healthy the last time I checked 6 hours ago. Now it seems the pups cant get enough milk from her. What's wrong?

These are good questions for your vet. Please bring the whole litter, as well as the *****, in as soon as possible!

Sometimes it happens. It's not pretty. As for the one that died 12 hours later, that's a bit more unusual and you should take the remainder to the vet, but it does happen, and these are small dogs to begin with.

I know it's a rough concept to accept, but animals have many offspring in a litter for precisely this reason - not all survive.

this happened to my dog's family. one was at stillbirth and later on another puppy died. but the milk part is a bit worrying. is this your dogs first birth? and also, how little is the mother?

keep your dog and puppies warm ( not to warm ) and give them 100% attention especially the mum.

good luck

It's time to take them all to teh vets and make sure everythign is ok. It is posible she isn't producing enough milk adn the pups may need supplemental feedings.

You need to ask the vet. The other pups could be in danger too. Bring the whole litter and your ***** to the vet and get them all checked up.

How old is your *****?
