Letter A for me.

I wouldn't say something inside of me "forces" me, though. Instead, something inside of me "tells" me to believe in God and when I do it, God responds to me positively. I believe in God solely because I follow my intuition and my intuition tells me there is someone taking care of me with a loving heart. It just happens that way.

Just a couple more things:

- God is what makes me have faith on myself, so letter B is kinda contradictory to me.

- Concerning letter C, being happy with myself is something more related to my self-esteem and not exactly related to God's love for me. I mean, one person can believe in God and yet feel unhappy with him/herself. It is more like a state of mind than faith per say. Jesus said "love your neighbor as you love yourself", therefore it is crucial to love ourselves first, and I think this is the only thing in the world that you have to develop without anyone's help at all, not even help from God. It is totally up to you. The best way is realizing your mistakes and faults, free yourself from guilt, especially guilt based on other people's judgment. Change the pattern of your thoughts, believe you deserve the best, give yourself the best, praise yourself, do good things for yourself, accept yourself the way you are. if you do it and feel happy with yourself, God will be happy, too.

Peace!

I wish with everything in me that I could give you a wonderful, logical, eloquent answer to this--but I can't seem to. All I know is that some part of me knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is real. There are times (frequently) when I wonder, or doubt, or am confused about my faith, but somehow that part--the one that knows--is always there. I wish I understood it better than I do. In a way, this doubt almost makes me believe in it more than ever. Which parts of life--the true parts of life: love, anger, relationships--aren't confusing? Religion, faith, belief--these are all true parts of life. If they were straight forward, if they weren't confusing, frustrating and ultimately unbelievably rewarding, I don't think they'd really fit the mold.

I can't tell you why I have faith, because, to be honest, I'm not sure that I really know. I just know that it's right.

If we are able to accomplish everything in life by our mere will ,then there is no relevance for God.But as humans we are forced to face many trials and tribulations in life which are beyond our control. In such circumstances we are forced to believe that only God can help us come out of these problems and there starts the story. Then slowly we feel somewhat convinced about the existence of God and pray to Him a little more sincerely. As such our life becomes smoother only because of God's grace resulting out of our faith in Him.Hence option 'c' is correct!!!

E)
Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

so this scripture is not an example of, "I read this and then believed that it is true, so i have faith." it is more this, "even as a child I could see that God made everything...it was obvious that it had been made. That God is a reality." this scripture simply confirmed to me that what it says is true...that God's divine nature can be clearly seen; even in a child. so my faith is based on the scriptures proving itself right over & over & over & over again in every aspect of life. i have been given no reason to doubt God what so ever. and the more I learn in God's Word the more I see it is right in every way. again not because i want to believe it, but it shows itself to be right. so I have no excuse for not wanting to follow God just like it says.

E. Faith in NOT belief without proof. That is not faith, that is superstition. You sat in a chair to type your question on a computer. Did you question whether or not that chair would hold you up? No, you never gave it a second thought because "faith" has to do with "trust". In other words, you had faith in the designers of the chair, the materials used to construct it, and the history that it has never broken when you placed your full weight upon it. Faith in God is based on those principles as well.

Yes, we have proof of God. It was provided by God Himself.

Faith is choosing to believe the evidence as given and not trying to rationalize it away to suit your own position. Hebrews notes the following regarding faith...

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for."
OK, materialists, what is a substance? It is something you can physically hold--it is a reality. The word "hope" is not "I hope my car won't run out of gas." but rather, in the Greek, it means, "I'm running out of gas, but there is a gas station--I now have hope." So faith is the reality of that which gives salvation.

"The evidence of things not seen."
Do you believe in atoms? Have you seen atoms? Why do you believe there are atoms? Because you have evidence. Evidence of things not seen. That doesn't make you a moron. That makes you a chemist and a physicist.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Because one can deny what he/she reads in books or what someone tells us but there's just no way one can ask NATURE to "SHUT UP" which speaks about HIS existence at every inch one moves, LOUD AND CLEAR. And for people who think that PROPHETS(P.B.U.H) were people who came to influence and bring about communities, well they only confirmed what the nature always hinted at, only those who were blind, deaf and dumb could never get benefitted from their midas touch and have passed on the same bad luck to their furture generations. That is why we see a lot of educated illiterates around us.

"e."
I have faith in God (Creator) because i am capable to look at and think about God's creations with logic & reason as a reasonable person.
Just look at space, time, planet & universe with all your intellect & knowledge you will find lot of reason to faith in God.
As i think why the purified water in my room expired after period of time when water in the ocen don't expired after billions of years then i got some reason to faith in God.
When i compare the planet earth with all other known planet then i got some reason to faith in God.
