Why do humans always think heaven in somewhere else and not here on earth?

The Scriptures clearly teach that there is a place called Heaven for all who know and love our Lord Jesus Christ. Heaven is a place. The word is used in the Bible in three different ways. First of all, the region of the clouds is called heaven. Genesis 1:8. Then the area where the stars are located is known as heaven. Genesis 1:17. Finally, the word is used to describe God's dwelling place. Paul calls this the "third heaven" and "Paradise." II Corinthians 12:2-4.

Heaven is always mentioned as being "up." Satan said, in Isaiah 14:13-14, "I will ascend into heaven." We know that our Lord is in heaven today. After He was raised from the dead, He ascended in a body of flesh and bones. He carried glorified humanity into heaven. Luke 24:38- 39, 51; I Peter 3:22; Hebrews 1:3.

There is a great host of believers in heaven, for when the true Christian dies, he is "absent from the body-present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8. These believers are enjoying the presence of Christ, which is far better. Philippians 1:23.

The early humans and those who have made religions in tehneme of gods thought that what they see as sky is a strong stuctural roof of the this palent and oer whci the gods and goddesses lived . the early greeks some 300 to 400 BC thought that what the Gods pissed through some seives fell down as rains on the earth. The rumblings of the thunder were thought to be the sounds of the moving chariots of the gods.Man sees that the rains pour down so much water that towns and villages wer esubmerged and the rivers and thelakes were inundated .they di dnot think tht so muchof water could just be hanging in the air and therefore thought that the water should have been from the strong roof of the world .This could e judged from the fact that in his Genesis has said that a vault over the earthappeared when the God said,"Let there e a vault ." Neither Moses , nor anybody else in his time would hav been aware of thefact that there is noi ropof or any vault over any panet in th euniverse and that great immeasurable masses of matter can just be floating in the space without any support .Since the people felt that the God were residing in th eroof of the world , they thought that the place where the Gods resided shoud be the heaven and that it was overhead .similarluy they thought that the hell was bvelow the earth.unfortuantely they did not know that it is all overhead all around the globe of the earth and that for a globe , what we call the sky is all around and that it is all the same on all sides of the world .
since such a concept has been current for millions of years and people have been taught so from childhood and thus they have been brainwashed for generations , they continue to think that the heavens exist somewhre in theskies and that 'god also resides in hios special abode on the top of the world.
It is difficult even to a highly educated person to shed such absurd religious beliefs. Religiomns have many such absurdities to shed but people in authority .are unwillig to do it as they want to retain the character of divinity to the scriptures though they may in many respects are not even in ,line with the wisdom of humanity. May god sae them and forgive them for portraying absurdities as divinity and ascribe such absurdities to HIM. It seems that they would not hav Eallowed any absurdities to continue in religious texts in thE name of God ,if they really believe in the existence of God who could take the ignorance attributed to HIM as an insult to HIMSELF .

If there is an heaven, who will go to the heaven? The human creatures are inbuilt with goods and bads and we cannot change our genes. Heaven is an imaginary one and it is designed to lead human kind to live needed according to the society. In fact, heaven and hell can be seen in the earth. It is a life-cycle of us. Everyone in this earth will see both.

Then why did Jesus ASCEND into Heaven, and everytime He prayed, He looked up to the Father? Why does it say that Jesus will return the same way He WENT UP in the CLOUDS, HE WILL RETURN THE SAME WAY, IN THE CLOUDS?
Why does it say that Jesus will come back for His Bride, the Church, and we will "RISE UP TO MEET HIM IN THE SKY?"

I thank the God of the Universe, Jehovah God... that Heaven is NOT on this earth.

With all...the Crime... violence...disease...etc. Oh please!

But for those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, they will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. The Bible describes Heaven as a... place, and this isn't it.

Human mind can perceive concepts (ideas) only in contrast not in their absolute existence.

good-bad, right-wrong, just-unjust etc.,

The matter of the fact being that heaven and hell are created to extract obedience by reward-punishment principle.

I personally think because of the bible. People for years upon years have belived this theory and continues to be. Yes I do belive some of the bible but to belive it all I have a hard time with saying someone I never knew lived for over 300 years, that's a little extreme.

Because thats what majority of religons teach. Jehovah witnesses don't really believe we go to heaven after we die, but that we will live on the earth after its renewed.
