Well I am due June 26 2008, which makes me 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant.
I had twins before this pregnancy and they are now toddlers. My only question is, is there any ladies out there who are police officers? I worked as a dispatcher during my first pregnancy. But now that I am police officer, I would love to know how some women did it.

I'm not a police officer but i work for a police dept. Usually once you announce your pregnancy to your Sgt. they usually put the pregnant officers to work in the districts (police stations) with paper work or miscellaneous work during their pregnancy.

I continued in patrol until I was about 12 Weeks pregnant, only because I had a previous miscarriage and did not inform any one of my pregnancy until I was confident I wasn't going to miscarry again. I then went into investigations, but stayed doing property, evidence, and crime scene until I returned from maternity leave.

When you got to eat, and the bills got to be paid rent must be on time, and your not sure if he'll send the support check this week, and child care is off the the hook, you take a deep breath two if you must and keep it moving in God you trust I will get though, if just for today you know you getting up for work today, tired or not sick you never get.

I told my supervisor as soon as I thought I was passed a "safe" miscarriage time (to me, about 4 weeks). I was placed on light duty for the duration. I wouldn't stay on the road unless you don't have a choice.

they are going to put you in the office which is probably where you should be at this time. They dont want the liability of putting your childs life on the line along with yours.

You see police get attacked all the time, and if you want to put your child in danger thats fine.. thats your call
I know that police think they know everything, and they don't so do what you want... your putting your child in danger!
