There's nothing wrong with that. I've always dated younger guys - my husband is 3 years younger than me and most of the guys that I have ever dated were younger than me. If she truly likes the guy (and she isn't just trying to choose someone that will make her look good socially - if she is that's really bad) then she shouldn't care what other people think.

No way, its not even a large age difference so it doesn't really matter. If he was like a few years younger then sure THAT would be weird.
I once went out with someone younger than me and it was totally fine. As long as they are about as mature as your friend you know? it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks, they'll get used to it. Alot of people in my school are going out with someone younger than them.
Tell her good luck :)

My daughter goes with a guy who's younger than she is and my son goes with a gal who's older than he is. They're both happy. Don't let other people tell you what's right. In affairs of the heart, there are few rules. You have to be with someone who makes your heart sing, regardless of his age.. If your friend is confused, then he's not the right guy. Age wouldn't matter if he was.

honestly if you look at it like this in the years ahead like we can say she was 21 and he was 20 it wouldnt make a difference why cause they're both over 18 right well her friends doesnt notice this but its all the same 1 year difference should make no big deal it may look big now but if you look at it future wise then you should notice that there aint a big deal after all

im with a girl who is 18 and im only just gonna turn 17 in a month. We are so so so in love. There is nothing wrong with it at all. If they like eachother then there is no problem. The only reason that usually doesnt happen is because girls mature faster than boys, so girls tend to go for older boys that are more on their level.

When I was 31, I had an affair with a 21-year old. God, was it good! I am now 66, he is 56, and we still correspond after thirty-five years.

Once you get older, a difference of 10 years isn't a big deal at all. So, an 8th grader dating a 7th grader is NOTHING.

Well I don't really know about these things. But, just tell her that if she doesn't go out with him, she might get heart broken.

Not at all. My husband is 3 years younger than me. Age really doesn't matter. What matters most is what you feel for each other.
