Wait a minute...who is the guy talking to, and when? Sure a guy will say what he means, and mean what he says...sometimes. I'm not trying to slam anyone here; some guys are very reputable...true to their word. And are we talking about men, or are we talking about the average adolescent to early teen male? The truth, as I see it, is that guys talk trash on the field or on the court. If you happen to be a young female willing to believe whatever is said, good luck. I think that most men will be honest with their moms, their religious advisers, and someone that they have grown to love and respect. That said, a lot of gals, based on what they say, can't be trusted any further than you can throw them.

Guys tend to be less subtle than women and we usually don't try to hide what we mean and hint at stuff. However, men do lie alot and most of us say stuff that isnt true in an effort to avoid drama. It saves us a lot of time if we tell a little white lie to avoid all the drama.

In general guys say what they mean and mean what they say. Most guys don't have the social skill for hidden messages. Now a guy will say untrue stuff all the time...but to not cause drama or such...not to cause it.

no. some guys do that, and some guys don't. what you're asking about is a stereotype, which is what most people think someone does. some guys play games. some don't. and some guys DEFINITELY lie. everyone's different. imagine how'd you feel if you had enormous boobs and some guy said, "every chick with huge boobs obviously has fake ones, right?" well, that's not true at all.
if you're having an issue wondering about what a guy really means, you need to ask him straight up, "is that what you really mean? you're not playing games with me?"

It probably depends on the person. I've seen good guys act like they were practically disgusted by mean girls. Mean girls come with more drama and will eventually be mean to their guy.

Men and women alike, lie. Men are a bit more direct, yes, but not necessarily lieing. A person will lie to get what they need. Not true of everyone, of course, just generalizing. My blog said it all,"Believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear and remember that 1 billion Chinese can't all be Wong". (Bruce Lee said something like this, before his death).

Not always. In my experience, yes they are pretty straightforward, but they have every tendency to feel confused, to fudge their answers, or to say something for the heck of saying it, or say something with a hidden motive. Don't take *everything* at face-value. But yes, generally, many times in a lot of ways, they are straightforward. It's the more decent, sincere ones who are that way am sure.

That's such B.S. Guys are so lost they don't have a clue and I'm a guy. There's no hidden messages. It only means what it takes to fit the moment.

Guys may lie, some lie all the time.
But you won't usually find any hidden meaning by analyzing what we say.

I'll usually say exactly what I mean.
Unless it conflicts with a girl of interest, then I will lie through my teeth to impress them.
I will not, however lie to keep something from them.
