Does it matter, it all depends. You have to have the right face, neck and ears to pull off short hair. Short hair can look hot on a woman. I think long hair is eaiser to pull off for women even though it take more time. It really depends on your other features whether or not it will look good. Everyone is different so for me it is case by case.

I prefer long hair but that does not mean that I would not date a woman with short hair. What you're really asking is what are you attracted to at first glance.
