Psst, it is Faber Castell They don't have a castle yet :)
http://www.faber-castell.us/
And I only know Marie's from this:

I know it is a art supply producer, just never used it.

* On crayons*
There is no real best they are all good but differ in the way they act. Softer, harder, Mix well, stay beside each other when mixed. I even have some Chinese 'crap' that I love to use. It melts in my hand when I use it but has some lovely effects on paper.

You need to test what you like best... or even use them all to a specific purpose.

* On paint
I use Sytem 3 http://www.daler-rowney.com/prod_catalogue/disp_Products.asp?category=4&brand=24
It's cheap, good and lasting. Love the stuff.

Total points:
847 (Level 2) I've always used Crayola crayons and Faber-Castell pencils (but not the other way around), and lately I bought some Marie's acrylic paints for my son, since they're pretty cheap compared to others (at least over here in Italy); he seems to be happy with them. Come to think of it, I did buy Crayola colored pencils for my kids once, hoping they'd be similar to Prismacolor, but was disappointed (they're harder).

But I can't help you with a real comparison, because I haven't used one identical single product produced by all three companies.
