Because it was a Hollywood dramatization--when was the last time they portrayed ANYTHING accurately?

The Psalms were written 500 years after Moses and the Exodus.
There were lots of overworked and injured Hebrew slaves in Egypt, during the time of Moses.
That mistreatment was one of the main reasons God sent Moses to lead them out.

Hollywood doesn't read the whole Bible...they look for sensational stories not truth. They want to dramatize and exaggerate...just like the funny newspapers by the check-out aisle at your local Wal-mart, or other large store.

It's poetic license. The movie producers cared more about drama than about making a completely faithful-to-the-Bible story.

I wouldn't even think of arguing theology based on a movie; there are plenty of other faults in religion's claims.

the Jews were in cruel Bondage and labored for Egypt
Read Exodus.........they were in bad shape....and were punsihed , beaten and killed , and even worse treated after Moses was sent to free them....
But it was GOD who delivered them...........from that bondage
rightly divide the Word of Truth,
and hollywod dramatises everything the more , but they were in bad shape alot of them from the bondage and lack !!
