The only thing I am aware of is to take pictures of things that people will want to buy images of and post them to a website where others can view them and purchase them. It's not that easy. There's lots of competition and you have to take excellent pictures. Otherwise who'd want to buy them?

No, you can not make money with your digital camera, and even if you could you would find yourself in trouble with the Secret Service. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Secret_Service
A camera, digital or otherwise, is a tool. Your skills at using the tool are the key, and there is no shortcut to developing skills as a photographer. Practice, especially practice that follows solid education and theory, is the only way to become a skillful photographer.
That said, many camera owners have had very happy accidents that have earned them some spending money. Most are doing so with microstock these days, but as a professional photographer I am opposed to the microstock business model so I won't help you any further than to suggest googling the term.

I dont know if I would call it an easy way unless it's a scam but there are all kinds of things you can do with pictures from a digital camera. Graphic design is huge these days and can be alot of fun.

When a friend of mine was young he took his camera out at Christmas once there was a decent snow fall. On a tripod at night he would photograph the houses that were nicely decorated with Christmas lights. Later he would ring their doorbells with a copy of the picture for sale. He figured out how to do something that others could not do for themselves. Today he owns a multi million dollar studio.
Today, with digital, it is harder to find something that people can not do for themselves. Lighting, background and technical skills are important. I'm sure there is someway, the creative mind just has to figure it out, but once they do, I highly doubt they're going to show you that information on a website.

Possibly, if you take good pictures (creative) at an event or something. The newspaper may buy the pictures if they're good enough. But you might need a nicer camera than just a point and shoot camera. Maybe a simple SLR or something.
Hope I helped.

If you have the eye you can make money. Look at published pictures and try to see what made them special. Life Mag. is a good one. Holiday pictures of peoples pets always is a good money maker. I set up an area in my home with no distractions and good backgrounds of different colors and contrasts and practice first. Treats will help to get them to do what you want. Look at a lot of dog and cat pictures for ideas. You should be able to get about $25.00 or more for a good 8x10. Save all your pictures on a small disk in case they want them for themselves, but only if they buy an 8x10. You can edit the pics on your pc,save it to your cameras memory card and go to one of those quick print places and print a picture for them. The more they want, the more you charge. Most of all,be professional about it and always tell them how cute and beautiful their pet is. I make about $1,500.00 every Christmas. Cash only!

Not easy. I work every Sat for about 900 dollars. Depends on your area. Here in the Detroit area many people are out of a job so there is very little money to go around. My high quality of work would get 3,000 dollars in California but here in my area ( 15% unemployment) 900 dollars is all one can get.

Yes! I take pictures on my digital camera all the time. Get a good editing program like The Gimp (which contains most photoshop controls for free) and edit your pictures. Sell them at your local arts studio. You put in an applications at your arts council and they will review your work and decide to put it up. Also, some coffee shops will sell art as well.
First, you want to take your pictures and decide which ones you like. Edit them up and make them look nice. Grab some frames and put them in an acid-free slip. Print one to five of each of your chosen prints, and put them up, they are the test runs, they will determine what sells and what doesn't. Then reproduce more of the ones that sell.
Good luck!

If you were a good photographer and could then sell your photos, you can make money that way. It's not as easy as it sounds though.
