24 Hour Scene
Cold blue room.
Warm yellow flowers,
peaceful green leaves,
on a earth brown table.
Hot red sun shine,
on flesh toned people.
Sharp white glare,
against pitch black night,
seen through clear glass.

Show me your colors.

Divine: read line one, pause then go on.
Then after reading the whole thing ask why the last line?

I like the initial idea of the poem, but I have trouble calling it good simply because it really only has that one idea. You don't really throw a deeper meaning behind it (as far as I can tell after reading it only 3 times) and there is no emphasis on any of the lines. The only real thing that jumps out to me is the clear glass.

Also, this contradiction may be made on purpose, but I don't understand why.
"Hot red sun shine...
pitch black night,"

This is a great poem! I love all the color imagery. And the ending is superb - 'seen through clear glass' and 'show me your colors'. Very good indeed.

I love it! These are the colors of your life and how you feel them. A very, very nice piece.
