Seems like for Atheists it isn't too important but for Christians (maybe other Theistic religions too?) it does seem important.

Are you kidding???? I've known so many atheists who are absolutely militant, and make a sport out of trying to insult and embarrass religious people.

I work in the litigation support field, and one atheist lawyer wouldn't even let me into his office until I took off the cross necklace I was wearing. Of course, I told him to get screwed, and that he better let me in or he'd be fined for non compliance...which he ultimately was.

You must not know many atheists.

I don't necessarily want people to agree with me...I just want the best for them and their souls. I believe God has only the best plans for us and what harm is there in trying to be a better person and be a good example?
I know many here will shoot down my answer but once again, I am not here to make anyone agree with me.

I don't care if people agree with agnosticism, but I also believe in "mass consciousness" and human energy too and I wish those who were afraid to die if there's nothing afterwards would consider that our conscience would remain after corporeal death.

As long as they have good reasons to disagree, I can respect that. But I refuse to respect beliefs or arguments that are irrational or illogical.

They don't have to agree with me or my beliefs, but I don't want others to interfere with my religion, neither do I intrude in their beliefs.

To me, not at all. If everyone agreed with me I'd get bored in a hurry.

Everyone is entitled to his/her own beliefs. Sure, everyone thinks what they believe is the "right" thing, but we're supposed to: it's called faith.

It's not. They're my beliefs - I don't need anyone else's approval or validation. My spirituality is between me and my Gods.
