i want to buy a nissan 350z, but i dont know if they are going to do any remodeling to it. considering that its been basically the same model since the 350 came out. i dont wanna buy one now, and then see a completely redesigned 350 shortly after. especially since the nissan 350z and the infinity g35 coupe were designed on the same platform, and as we all now, the g35 coupe has been replaced with the g37, so maybe someone out there knows about a new 350z coming soon... please help! thanks

In my honest opinion, to choose between a Nissan 350Z or an Audi TT I would have to take the Nissan 350Z. Simply because it would use less fuel than the Audi, the insurance rate would be cheaper for the Nissan as compared to an Audi, there are many well known aftermarket manufacturers for the Nissan 350Z eg. HKS and their turbo/supercharger kits. Also a Nissan 350Z would in most cases be just as good if not better in performance compared to a Audi TT. 350Z unless the TT completely takes your mind.

Sadly no one knows since there is no official announcement form Nissan.
But i bet they wont change it for a two years minimum.
Maybe there could be some little tweaks here and there.
But the basic engine will be the same, since they put a new VQ engine just now.

And by the way, they once already changed the look: the new hood and more coupe-ish design.

Of course you will buy one and the next year there will be a redesign. That's how it works. Rumor has it we will get the 3.7 engine in 2009 I expect to also see new sheetmetal too. The current car is a great machine. Don't let one newer body style stop you. Performance people plaster body kits and caron fibre on them anyway.

Nissan has stated that in 2009, the 350Z will be receiving the VQ37VHR 3.7 liter 330HP which will replace the VQ35DE 3.5l 306HP. The body style is going to remain the same, but it's going to be smoothed out.

Well, 350Z just had a facelift, and that will mean that it'll last for a couple more years. Typically for non-sports cars, the life-span is shorter. a sports car like 350z normally has a longer life-span, same goes for the RX-8..
