Like adults, I'm aware of how sanitizer can possibly be dangerous to children and the recent cases in the news. Its just my mom has a habbit of using hand sanitizer before eating food out or after touching shopping carts. Not to mention I won two 2ounce hand sanitazers as a baby shower and it kinda freaked me out. I was paranoid.
My OCD is really buggin me with this.

If you use it on your hands, and then eat your food there's no danger because the ethyl alcohol has already evaporated. If you directly eat it then yeah it's dangerous.

You suffer from OCD too, huh? Yeah, I'm with you...

The entire risk in the stuff on the news was kids ingesting (drinking) what was effectively 40 proof liquid. Washing your hands, presumably rinsing, is not going to do anything to you except possibly dry out your skin so badly it becomes cracked and subject to infection. Common sense always helps.

Its only if you ingest a large quantity. it. Her eating a little bit isn't going to hurt her. Its an alcohol, so the bigger you are the less it will affect you. Now, if she was drinking it outta the bottle........If you keep it outta children's reach, it wont matter.
