With all the modern day security measures, is it true that prison rape still happens? If so, is it really as bad as the media portrays it to be (ex. if you go to jail you WILL get raped unless you are bad motha)

It's not as bad as TV portrays. You will not get raped guaranteed if you go to prison. My dad was in federal prison for 15 months, and I've talked to him a lot about it. He said that the guys who wanted to have sex with each other did, but it was never forced that he heard of.

Lock up a load of guys for years with an overdose of testosterone, a brutal system and no women, what do you expect. Yes, of course it's against the law. So is murder, arson, Grievous Bodily Harm, fraud and burglary, which is why most of them are in prison in the first place. And since when did the so-called Justice system ever worry about addressing problems or the social factors that cause crime? It's easier just to lock them up and pretend they don't exist.

The rapes in prison have little to do with sex. They are about power. Prisons have a very strict heirarchy and new people are placed into submission by being sexually attacked. Being a bad mf won't help; they will come in numbers too great to fight.

I wouldnt think its as bad as they portray on tv. There are gay men in prison also and although im sure theres not an equal amount of straight vs gay men in prison this has to make it easier to have sex without having to rape someone

yes it does. specially here in the philippines. when a prisoner is convicted for rape his co-prisoner will or probably 90% chance of raping him also.

or if it's a women prisoner, police custody have also reported being subjected to other forms of torture or illtreatment,
including threats, slaps, punches, kicks and sexual assault, such as the groping of
breasts. Women detained in provincial, municipal and city jails are also vulnerable to rape or
sexual violence. Rape of women detainees by police officers, jail guards or military officials always
constitutes torture.

It happens but it's not all that common. I did twelve years in Quentin, for a pilot that turned State's evidence when I was flying over some Columbian weed. I never once heard of it happening. That's not to say that it doesn't happen though, just not very often.

RAPE IS DEFINED AS AGAINST THE WILL OF ANOTHER.

AS OF 2007, WE ENTERED INTO A FEDERAL LAW THAT STRENGTHENS PRISON RAPE AND MAKES IT A MORE SERIOUS CRIME. YEARS ADDED TO YOUR SENTENCE. (10-15)

ALSO SEX WITH THE SAME SEX IS NOT CONDONED AS IT USE TO BE. THE GAY OLD TIME WITH SISSY IS NOT A GAY OLD TIME NOW AND CAN BE CHARGED AS MALE PROSTITUTION.(THIS CAUSES AIDS AND SPREADS THE VIRUS AROUND TO SOME WHO DID NOT HAVE IT)
