im not deep into philosophical/yoga/meditation stuff, but i know what makes me feel quiet.
well first off, i guess i make my environment clean of any sounds i dont want to hear. maybe play music i like or something. not necessarily even quiet music. just music i like, maybe at a low volume so i can hear myself think. i turn off the lights..i lay down.. i think about everything i should be stressing about, and then i just tell myself, that ive got time. i tell myself:right now, be here. and i just be HERE. wherever that is. then i just enjoy the absence of sound... im not saying this will work for you though. i mean, if someone likes nature, and birds and sunshine and wind or whatever, or if they like the beach, or even a quiet store in a mall or something, thats cool too. just treat your senses. if you like things loud, make them loud. if you like seeing something, go look at it. and instead of worrying about whatever else just enjoy the moment i guess..
lol well i hope that didnt sound as stupid as it could have.

To achieve inner peace, I find a place that is only mine. It may be my room, it may be a secluded tree, but whatever it is, I go there, and I read. Sometimes alone time is all you need to achieve peace.

First I believe someone needs to figure out what they want out of life.
Then, take steps to achieve his/her goals.
Inner piece will come from accomplishing what he/she set out to do. There is always inner growth to pursue.
