Many denominational churches have YA groups and there are some that function outside of Church affiliation. Those that are organized by the churches do seem to have activities that are more church related, but really YA is what you choose to make of it. I guess it really depends on the direction to want to take. If you are evangelistic, then you may want to join a group sponsored by an evangelical church, such as a Baptist church. If you are more interested in civic or community action then any of the other denominations would suffice.
