No, this world ends, dying and killing ends, wars end, burial places or cemeteries, churches, hospitals, funeral homes, nursing home, insurance companies and even less seas and so many more to make room for for the resurrection all the way back to Abel, The 1000 year reign of Christ Jesus makes all as new as before Eden and he saves all possible, any lost has self to blame.
At 2007 after Christ we have had the bible in the world 396 years to end last days and go into the time of the end.

Yes, this is a critical problem, but I don't think it helps to make everything doom and gloom. We need to decide (as nearly as we can) how bad the problem is and how best to fix it. Some things we could try are: 1. REALLY putting serious funding into alternative energy funding. This could include hi-bred cars, wind, thermal, hydrogen fuel cells and of course solar. 2. Try to teach our children that there are other things in life besides buy more, using more and spending more. Teach them that they live on a beautiful planet and they need to love that planet deeply in order to care enough to have a simple life style that won't force it and the animals on it to the point of extinction. 3. Use less energy in our daily lives. Walk or ride your bike to work. Buy local produce where ever possible. Exchange things you no longer need for something a neighbor has. In return he gets something of yours. 4. Support actions that encourage less exploitation of natural resources both at home and in developing countries. These are just some suggestions off the top of my head. If we had governments and individuals who really cared about this problem and would devote energy to it, we could come up with a really good list. Thing is we need actions not just lamentations!

No, I don't think faith will have anything to do with the destruction of our civilization. USA is mimicking Rome. We will fall like Rome and probably create a nuclear war in the process. I think our damage will be much worse than the Romans. Faith will not save us or help us. It's inevitable.

It will depend on what group(s) of people hold the most advanced technology(especially of a military nature). If some crazy terrorists get a hold of some super weapons. We might face a big problem.

We can not prevent the Christian Rapture. That event is by God's doing, and His timing.
If the world followed the teachings of Jesus Christ, we would have peace on earth.
Cordially,
John

Human instinct for survival will prevent total destruction, though unfortunately some nations may want to destroy others.
