habit that is making them unhealthier day-after-day? And stinking up their breath for good measure, no matter how many mints they use!

Not all smokers try to justify it. I currently smoke and have tried to quit and Satan keeps on messing with me. I do not condone or promote my actions. I know God does not want me to smoke or to pollute His temple. I just have not been able to break away. There really is no good excuse Biblically to continue to do it. (It might not state it directly, but it sure as heck implies it is a sin)

that is talked approximately as denial. that is their way of ignoring fact. human beings who smoke tend to get indignant while non-human beings who smoke point out the hazards of smoking. I smoked for 15 years, yet end for reliable when I have been given pregnant with my daughter. My husband and that i've got not smoked in just about 2 years, and the two one individuals sense sorry approximately beginning in the 1st place. we are at the instant attempting to speak a chum of ours into quitting because of the fact he's have been given some wellbeing themes, yet he's very malignant with us as quickly as we deliver it up.

It's called denial. It's their way of ignoring reality. Smokers tend to get offended when non-smokers mention the dangers of smoking.

I smoked for 15 years, but quit for good when I got pregnant with my daughter. My husband and I haven't smoked in nearly 2 years, and both of us regret starting in the first place.

We're currently trying to talk a friend of ours into quitting because he's got some health issues, but he's very malignant with us when we bring it up.

If smokers try to justify it then let them. Its their bodies. I'm currently a smoker and I agree with you completely. Its disgusting on so many levels. I would never try to justify this as being ok. But remember, its their choice. People can do with their bodies whatever they want. Do you get mad at people who eat fast food or overeat when this is a cause of diabetes and heart disease, among other things?

I think pharmaceuticals (unnatural and man made) do far more damage than smoking, especially if the smoke is completely natural and from the earth. Tobacco. Marijuana. Clove.

It is not "deplorable" ~ to me ~ as long as smokers don't blow in my face, in my home or in my car.

If you ever smoked you'd understand....It is horribly addictive.... I started when I was 13 and finally, in my 5th attempt, have succeeded, for 3 years now, to stay quit....The thing that keeps me from going back.....I never want to feel the awful way it feels to quit...ever again...and it goes on for sooo long, that's why people go back to it...it's more comfortable to go back, then to fight that awful feeling....so the next time they try to justify it, maybe you should just feel sorry and say a prayer for them, because it's honestly like being a "junkie".

Do you believe in freedom of choice? If so, why are you bitching about smokers? When I smoke, I do everything I can to be considerate about it. I don't light up indoors, I move away from nonsmokers so I don't blow it in their face and if I can't do that I will put it out. I know it's bad for me, but so are many other things. Why do you care if I make myself unhealthy?

Who are you to judge? I am sure you have bad habits yourself. How would you like it if people decided to pick on you for your bad habits? If you live in a glass house you really shouldn't throw stones. If your using religion against smokers then they can just come back with the fact that you are judging them.

Would you rather be locked in a garage for an hour with a smoker or a running car?

What's deplorable? Maybe being so easily convinced to attack a minority?

From the looks of your avatar... One would think you'd get it...
