When you meet a someone do you know autmatically you will spend the rest of your life with him?

I know there are ppl who are blind because they go after the ppl thats not right for them instead of realizing whats right n front of them. That epiphany has happened to me lately and im only 17

I don't know if people know automatically, necessarily - sometimes relationships develop over time, occasionally out of friendship.

But you know how, in high school, there are people you meet that you know - you just know - that you're going to get along and be good friends? And others that you meet and know - you just know - that you're going to have nothing in common?

Relationships often end up being like that. You meet someone and you just know that you're going to be close. It doesn't necessarily become a relationship or intimate or anything, but you know there's a connection, right away.

who will be the one special person in your life
to spend the rest of your life.. I am almost 40 in 2/9/68 And i want to find a girlfriend to spend the rest of my life but i am afraid of getting hurt, And I always end up with the wrong girl that uses me for what ever and thats it!!

Well, every person is different. Some people know right away while others take a longer time because they are more cautious. Some find it at an early age and realize it and others don't.

everyone is different but my dad always says that he knew he was going to marry my mom the first time he *saw* her (this was a while before he even got to meet her). sooooo sweet but who knows?
i'd like to believe in the fairy tale even when at times i know better :) don't give up, some people do find their very own happily ever after!

Well, you won't know that instant but after the first couple of dates, you will know for sure. Don't listen to those who say it isn't so. I know for a fact that it is true. It feels like being struck by lightening in my opinion. It's a feeling like you've know them forever.

it can happen and at any age and yes you just feel it --- it happened to me and im 54 so age is no barrier (and fortunately my lady feels the same way)
