Probally had to go to the bathroom before the race started. When I was at Texas Motor Speedway alot of the drivers hit the restrooms right before they climbed in the car.

He was running down to be with his team and wife. He was behind from so many pre-race interviews.

A better question would be "why did the camera man feel like he had to chase after him?
