I follow the philosophies of Buddhism and am an atheist.
BTW- my spiritual beliefs would never allow me to answer a question in such a hateful manner as Sadiyyah did.

My believes are very nature based. And if I have to chose a path that they most closely resemble, it would be pagan . I don't however, believe in the actual existence of(nor do I worship) any deities that are god-like or more "divine" than any other organism on this earth. To me they are symbols and metaphors that help my mind comprehend the feelings that arise within me when I look at the world around me.
Peace:-)

if you mean a kind of emotional epiphany, a sense of oneness with the universe then there are stars and trees, flowers, sunsets, stormy seas, poems, paintings and music. but the thing that really does it for me is looking up at the stars and playing the natural creation of the universe in my mind. it expands and particles condense out, they form atoms, then they clump together under the influence of gravity; stars and galaxies are born. stars explode and die, the elements and compounds that all life is based on are created. great clouds coalesce, a new star is born in the swirling mass and planets too. the planets cool and life emerges. it changes and evolves and then i am here because of all of that. it's like watching a plant grow and flower. no gods required, it starts simple, just one rule and builds up like a storm that started with a butterfly. the natural laws and constants that arise through that simplicity say all of this is possible and so here it is.

Who knows? You will have to ask each atheist individually as their beliefs differ. Just because they are all labelled "atheists" does not mean they belong to a group and all believe the same thing
