not me.....marijuana didn't grow in Turkey. It was on the major trade route for the Persian opium market.

Well I'm not entirely sure what it means, but I can clear a few things up for you. First, John 14:6 "Jesus answered, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.'" Being a "good person" isn't enough to rectify our sins against the most holy and perfect God. No matter how much "good" we do, we would never be able to bridge that gap. That's the reason Jesus had to come and die for us. He took the punishment we deserved for our sins: death. Second, the Bible is the infallible, inerrant word of God. It was written by the Holy Spirit through righteous men. The biblical God is the only God. Third, please don't base your opinion of God on the actions of sinful men (these "deeply religious" people you mentioned, seem rather similar to the Pharisees). Read the Bible to see who God is. Fourth, you are correct that Satan is a beautiful angel, but he does not do God's work. He does everything he can to spite God. He can't do anything without God allowing him to though (Job 1:7-12). Satan is hatred, lies, and evil. Do not be mislead that God and Satan work together.

I would suggest a bible study of Revelation..even if you are an Atheist. It's very interesting. When ever our church had a study on Revelation the place was packed. The imagery goes back to Daniel and most of it is explained in the old testament.

ti was a long strange trip..... and a bad trip at that.
Revelations is full of such a lot of nonsense, pot is as good an explanation as any. I think hallucinogens are behind a lot of far out literature.
I hope your day/evening improves! I recommend Ben And Jerry's half baked frozen yogurt. Lethal goooooood!

Well as a smoker of marijuana, I can safely say I have never had a hallucination before. As for Revelations, I think the guy was senile when he wrote it and was really pissed off at Nero.

I have had some pretty paranoid highs (yes, on the green tobacky) that I could easily compare to the book of Revelation, so my answer is, anything is possible. If it happened to me, then I am sure it could happen to any person.
My only question would be, how did they manage to pick up their writing utensils? All I managed to pick up was a bag of doritos.

Revelation was a vision given to John while he was in exile on the isle of Patmos for preaching the Word of God. i really dont think that he was high. I know for a fact that he was not high because i have experienced both being high and being saved...trust me, being saved is better. God doesn't give visions like this to pot heads.

Big Solly yes it is. It is in that category because some people do suffer hallucinations from it but it is very rare to have that happen. Know your stuff before you type.
My answer to the question is no.

It tells you he ate mushrooms. All the prophets did before they prophesied. It was called a little book. Sweet as honey in the mouth, but bitter in the belly.

If it was, it would be one of a gazillion reasons why smoking pot is bad. Too many people fool themselves into thinking pot is a spiritual tool when all they want is to escape from reality.
