A person enters into the convenant of the New Testament with a sincere and repentant heart following conviction by the Holy Spirit.

Christians do not "convert others". We witness the miracle.

And, no, we do not receive money. "benefit in any way"? Yes, if you consider rejoicing in the salvation of another soul.

The only way Christians Benifit from converting others is a Thank you from our lord. I take it your not a Christian you should really think about converting. Its the ONLY way to paradise after life. And Plus When Christians try to convert someone they are really not benifiting anyone they person who converts gets all the benifits!!! :) And Remember Jesus Loves You!!!

I am also Wiccan. After a year and a day as a Dedicant (after having gone through a Dedication Ritual) new Wiccans can be Initiated into a coven. Initiation is akin to being reborn as a new spiritual being. There are oaths, challenges, anointings, renamings and other aspects of initiation that are exclusive to the Wiccan Tradition and coven the Dedicant is pledging to. Many Wiccan traditions and other Pagans also have Wiccanings of newborns and coming of age rituals for our children. In fact, every stage of life, every transition will have its own ceremony welcoming and honoring the new self into the world.

Christians do not receive money when they convert individuals. They are telling people about their faith to spread the Good News.

Christians benefit by telling others about God because that's what the scriptures command us to. We don't get any money for doing that but we'll be in Heaven eternally as long as we repent our sins and do what ever else God commands us to.

If you mean to say Muslims are giving them money, you are wrong because Muslims are mostly poor except few oil producing countries. Muslims don't believe in bribing in the name of God and Muslims never compromise their religious laws to convert some one. I mean they never say it is OK if you drink or having sex out of wedlock as long as you become Muslim you will go to heaven. NEVER NEVER NEVER. They don't care whether one accepts Islam or not.
Our responsibility is only to pass the message of God because no any Prophet will come after Mohammad SAW until the end of this world.

No. But they may feel they benefit spiritually if they do.

I'm a Christian, but I don't try to convert people. I just enjoy expressing my point of view, and listening to that of others.

If priests are considered christians, then yes! The more converted, the more the priests will earn. It is pretty safe to say that christians are pawns used by priests.

Christians believe that they benefit simply because they get a good feeling from 'helping' someone else. They TRULY believe that they are saving souls from hell. And if I thought I TRULY had the vaccine for all disease, I'd be trying to convince you to get in line. I appreciate their desire to help me - and I appreciate those who are kind enough to take 'no' for an answer.

I'm an atheist but I think your question is very insulting to christians .No I don't believe they get anything but the satisfaction of promoting their beliefs and as they see it,helping their fellow man.I don't believe there is a god but I respect anyones right to do so.
