Yes there is it's call P.E.T this is how they found that my colon cancer had spread to my lungs. It is some what like a MRI they give you a shot that heats up your body I guess this helps them to know where the cancer is located. As to the cost I don't know what it was with me Medicare help pay the bill.

No, there isn't. There are body scans that are marketed as being able to tell if you have cancer or not, but they are not accurate. There is no way to tell unless you are having symptoms and run specific tests. The only definitive way to tell is to have a biopsy of the body part that you suspect has cancer. The doctor takes out a piece of the body part and sends it to the lab. Often this is done during surgery, and the pathologist in the lab looks at the sample under the microscope and can tell if the cells are cancerous.
Body scans are a scam, and they are very expensive. If you are having symptoms that you are worried about, or if you are just worried about cancer in general - talk to your doctor.

look to detect cancer by such ways means that u already have cancer and its beginning to spread or spreaded already, each have individual has a cancer cell that could be stimulated, other kinds of cancer could be stealth ones u cant observe until ur really infected, but if u wanna make sure before there are difficult ways and techniques, tests, etc.. that should be taken from all over ur body and that is really expensive and long time to go thru..
