Not necessarily. To know for sure, I'd have to see it and feel it by hand. There are some things to look for (that's really hard to describe over the internet) -- as in if it looks like there is liquid or pus inside, if it seems like air is inside, or if it is a solid and hard lump.
The best way to know is to do a scan. You should see your doctor if you're really concerned.

I have a small one, under my left arm, it just feels kind of like.. that grizzly crap you get in low quality saussages, or a cyst of some sort..
It doesn't hurt or anything, I noticed it like 4-5 years ago and it's just sat there hasn't grown or done anything.
It appears to be attached to whatever's under the skin not actual the skin itself.
-
If it's the same as what I just described it's probably just a cyst or ..wierd white ****, or something - get it checked if you're extremely paranoid and stuff, or if it hurts or gets bigger, but other than that i wouldn't worry too much =)

See a doctor to be certain...it does NOT necessarily mean cancer. It could be a swollen lymph node caused by an infection...however, should be checked out
