is it even possible? to kill with one punch?

There are numerous ways to kill with one punch (as well as using other striking methods). To get an idea you can read an excellent book called Deadly Karate Blows - The Medical Implications. This isn't something for you to read and practise in your backyard thinking you'll become some kind of human weapon. It is to let people know just what the consequences of your actions can be should you come to blows with someone.

The Dim Mak, or death touch, is the use of pressure points and meridians to harm or kill a person. These are the same points that accupuncture and other Chinese arts use to help heal people. I cannot testify as to whether the Dim Mak is real or not or if it would work or not, I am just presenting you with this for information purposes only.
NOTE: I am not setting myself up for debating whether it's real or not. So I don't want to hear from someone how your cousin's brother's girlfriend's dad killed a squirrel by touching a tree or any other story "proving" the death touch is real. I have been in combat sports and martial arts (with contact) since my early teens (I'm 34 now) and I can testify to the results of almost every strike imaginable with almost every body part to another body. As well as what can and will happen with almost every joint lock and choke. But I cannot say I've seen the death touch, nor can I execute it myself.

there are many styles that can kill with one punch
Ninjutsu and Aikido are the only two that I train in so those are the only two that I can honestly tell about of the death strikes. most of the stikes are to bruse the heart that would cause the heart to stop in a few hours or so they are done with hitting with the open palm the strikes to the neck are done with the knife blade of the hand hitting just under the jaw line breaking the neck.and in the back of the head stiking just below the skull line of the neck. But dont go around hitting ppl there because you can really mess some one up with little effort. If you just want to knock them out hit them with the back hand to the side of the neck hitting on the carotid artery. takes very little power to do this so be careful.

There are different ways of generating power for a punch but generating the power is a lot different to using it in a fight. I suggest taking a look at Glen Levy's "Momentum vs Impact" which explains how you can generate proper power in a strike without having to wind your strike up as done in Muay Thai. Power is one thing, but being able to fight is another. There is a HUGE difference between being the most powerful and being the better fighter and a good fighter doesn't rely on power.

I don't specifically know how a ninja death punch works, but if it is anything like other martial arts, it is a build up of energy, focused and used in a specific way. It is similar to how one is able to break boards or bricks or whatever. It is how Bruce Lee was able to punch a large man from one inch away and knock him across the room!

Look up any book on martial arts (or Thai Chi) and it will probably have a better explanation for you.

Okay, all you people with your sarcastic remarks are just coming off sounding not funny but as arrogant dumbsh*ts.

The death punch has been scientifically proven it works similar to any other strike. They key is where. A Ninjutsu practitioner from NZ whose name I forget, e-mail me if you really want it and I'll dig it up for you.

Anyway, this guy was used and with him it was scientifically proven that striking hard enough to the heart will cause it to stop. One hit, one kill.

You can kill someone with a strike to certain places from the neck up, but striking anywhere below the neck, like the heart, and killing someone is an Urban Myth and Im up for anyone punching me and trying it out, as long as I get to punch you afterwards :)

the ninja death punch is fake, people that can kill people with one punch are probably strong *** boxers that blow you back with a hard shot to the chest. But I do know that power from a punch comes from your back and your shoulders
