do flu vaccines really work?

Sort of yes, and sort of no.

Flu vaccines are made against the strain of the virus that the scientists "think" will be the most common one of the year.

But, there are a lot of other (supposedly less rare) strains out there that can still get you sick.

So, yes, they work since you'll be protected against the most common "predicted" strain.

And, no, they will not protect you against all strains of the flu.

They are` a scam that is fed by our fears. Usually the vaccine is for a strain that doesn't even exist. They are a ripoff unless you have terrible resistance to disease. They inject you with mercury and other very toxic substances and prevent you from developing natural immunity.

Some say they spread the flu because the virus is frequently not dead, just attenuated.

There are several different strains of the flu. Flu shots only vaccinate certain, not all flu strains. So, you can still get the flu. Why not forgo it and let your own immune system fight it off? I know it sucks, but that's why the strains are becoming more resistant.

yes, they inject you with the flu virus but a dead or diluted version of it so your body will build up antibodies to it. It may make you feel tired or you may get very mild symptoms of the flu for about a day after you get it but that's all and yes it does work.
