I have crazy abdominal pain. It started last night at like 2 AM (it didn't wake me up, I was just awake already) and it hurts whenever I use those muscles--so when I pee and stuff.
It doesn't hurt constantly. It just sometimes feels like it's about to explode, like it's swelling or something? It's usually when I move in certain ways, or when I try to go to the bathroom, or sometimes when I'm just sitting there not moving it randomly starts hurting.
I feel nauseous, and I threw up a little bit earlier...
And I'm totally not hungry at all--food is not on my menu right now.
I'm tired, too, but I've had very little sleep lately and that may have something to do with it.
Could anyone help me out here? I've had an ovarian cyst before, but this pain is a lot lower than that was and I'm not sure if it is the same type of pain. Oh, it also hurts (kind of like a bruise-like pain, though) to press on my lower right abdominal area.

I don't think it's a UTI or bladder infection because it's the wrong kind of pain. Like, it doesn't hurt to pee, it hurts the muscles or whatever in my abdomen when I start to, if you know what I mean? -.- It's hard to explain.

sounds more like a bladder infection than appendicitis. Appendicitis is always accompanied by high fever. 103 F or better.

Take your temperature, if it is 100 or above, do this test for referred appendicitis pain: Slowly and gently press down on your abdomen where the pain is, then very quickly release. If it hurts more when you let up than it did while pressing down, that is a symptom of referred appendicitis pain and you need to go to the Dr. soon. Appendicitis can take a few days to become acute. The pain can start in the middle of your abdomen and as the infection gets worse it localizes to the lower right side, just above your hip bone and the fever will spike higher. If you have a fever you have an infection of some sort. If you don't have fever now, that does not mean you will not develope one,so keep checking for as long as the symptoms persist.
You cannot wait too long to be seen if you have these symptoms, for the appendix can rupture and cause peritonitis which is a life threatening infection that occurs as the appendix dumps infection into the abdomen.
Even with all these symptoms my daughter's surgeon still made me sign a release to do exploratory surgery because until they are in there looking at it there is no way to definitively call it appendicitis, rather they assume it is because all the symptoms point to that. Fever, elevated white blood cell count (infection) and pain localized to the right lower abdomen as well as nausea and /or vomiting. Walking can become very painful as it becomes acute.

It is unlikely an appendicitis, because you more likely would get a fever and really bad pain, and it doesn't sound to me like UTI infection either. It sounds more like an ovarian cyst or ovulation pain. You can feel it higher or lower on either side of your abdomenal area. If it is ovulation pain, which is very common in the middle of your cycle-it may last from for couple of hours to a couple of days and can come and go. Just wait and see, but if this pain is severe and doesn't go away-deffinatly call your doctor!

Appendicitis is accompanied by high fever and lots of vomiting.
You would also be rolling around in pain. My friend screamed in agony when she had appendicitis.
I think you might have a bladder, kidney or uterine infection.
Or gas.
See a doctor to be sure.

With symptoms like this, I'd DEFINITELY see a doctor. It's easy to speculate online, but there are literally HUNDREDS of things that could be causing this...and no WAY for you to get a proper diagnosis online. I do agree that you would have a fever if you had appendicitis, but that doesn't mean that something else is wrong.
Play it safe...see your doc tomorrow.
Best of luck and happy healing!

it may be a sign of appendicitis, or ulcer...or maybe a referred pain from any part of your abdomen... but the best thing you do is to consult a doctor...
