2. Association with saintly persons
3. Practice of spiritual life

Depends on the object of the Faith.
Relationship with God is a gift (from God).
Rational Faith in God is rational and beneficial.
Irrational Faith in objects (that are not worthy of our trust) can be a curse.
Cordially,

Faith is one of the supernatural gifts-is that what you mean? Other wise God says everyone is given a measure of faith.

She is correct. Faith in God is a gift given to those whom He has chosen out for salvation. Not everyone has been given faith.
Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God;
2Th 3:2 and that we may be delivered from perverse and evil men. For faith is not in all men.

Christ died for your sin and mine and yes it is a fabulous gift. Faith comes from after you ask Jesus into you heart and to forgive you sins as a true born again to let God lead you and let God answer your prayers and in time your faith will become stronger and stronger as you see God work through your life.

Religious faith is true emotion. Evidence for it is not needed and evidence against it is not appropriate.
If faith is a gift, then perhaps a nervous twitch and many other things could be considered gifts.
