No, your body needs certain oils for healthy functioning, most notably omega-3, 6 those are fish oils. Vegetable or canola oils are also good for you. But as with everything, moderation is the key. You need a 'balanced' diet, there must be oils, fats & sugars in your diet, because your body needs them, but in limited amounts. Don't forget, 'you are what you eat.'
Even though I'm not a personal fan of Oprah, on her show lately, she has been having Dr. Oz & he explains nutritional needs very well, you can always check her site. The cells in your body need certain 'fuels' to function & oils are one of those fuels, especially for strong, flexible joints.
Good luck !

No, some oils are even beneficial;-} your body needs them.
Light vegetable oils like Canola, sesame, or peanut, are good; & fish oils are rich in Omega 3 & 6.
Many vitamins are oil-soluble.
Trans-fats & saturated fats are the bad guys.
But fried foods are also high in calories.

this is a really complex question not open to a simple answer. if you are interested in weight loss then fat should be minimized (but not by eating high glycemic carbohydrates in lieu of fat). if you are interested in overall cardiac health you should consume a reasonable quantity (an amount consistent with maintaining a healthy weight) of monounsaturated fats such as those found in olive oil. still, even this summary is a gross simplification you'd be better off speaking with a professional nutritionist.

Actually, a part of the new food pyramid is Healthy Fat/Oils or something.
EDIT: Anything fried is pretty much bad for you though.

Don't worry about oils.
Worry about lifestyle and habits.
Eating a deep fried chicken finger or wing or cheese stick every now and then won't kill you.
Take care of yourself and wear a condom if and when you have sex.
Having a kid at 19 will kill you faster than fried oils.

No.
Your body needs fat to function properly.
What you need to avoid is unsaturated fat. And now transfat.
But doesn't mean you can drink olive oil as water. Even good fat has a lot of calories.

It is always better to avoid fried food. Not all oils are bad - olive oil is fine. Also fish have oils that are fine.

transfats aren't good but having all that fried stuff isn't good either, get your fats from healthier sources like nuts, fish, or avocado, those will be trans fat free and full of healthy fats

COOKED oil of any kind is bad.
