I have never read that masturbation is a sin in the Bible. I do not know about other religions. The only thing I remember reading in the Bible is that it is better to spill the seed in the belly of a whore than to spill it on the ground. Sound like masturbation to me.

Male need?? Hello, females have needs too :)
And I don't think that it is a sin. I think that the verse about sowing your seed in fallow ground (or whatever) is talking about being careful in choosing a mate, not about masturbation - male or female.

It's not really a sin, but opening up to sin which is the problem. There are really only types of light in the universe: Christ light and it's corrupted form, Astral Light. Often times, a dark minion (or psychic vampire) will attach to someone at birth and suck them of energy for the rest of their life. So when you 'orgasm', you release powerful Astral light which keeps man in it's lower nature aby virtue of being fed off of by demons.

Also, everytime you use your 'higher light' for sensual purposes, it creates addiction. The bible says: "sex depeletes your substance."

The act is not the sin so much as the thoughts that you have during the act

the fear of not having a real sexual relationship with the opposite sex is the issue but that hardly makes it a sin unless it becomes an unwanted obsession or weakness of mind circumventing the true biological imperitive.

Masturbation is not a sin at all. It's a normal and natural thing.

EDIT:
Sure Joe, yeah, whatever you say.

Because it's healthy.

Studies show that masturbation helps relieve headaches, stimulate the immune system, relieve menstrual cramps for women, and help lower a man's chances of getting prostate cancer..

The only way that it could be sin is if you are lusting for a specific person. Then it is the act of lust.
